Hey everyone! Happy Holidays! Sorry you guys for my absence. It has been the busiest month & week of the year! I honestly did not have the time and computer to keep up with my blog, and I truly missed it. Now that everything in my personal life and work is under control I am back! For today's post I have some swatches from a new-to-me brand called Serendipity Nail Polish.
Based in Orange County, CA Serendipity Nail Polish devoted in providing you the highest quality nail lacquers that are
cruelty free, and without the use of harsh chemicals and toxic
ingredients. More tempting to try since it is also vegan friendly. Inspired by Orange County's Coastal beaches in the winter, the Coastal Christmas Collection consist in 3 creme's, 1 holo glitter topper and a sliver flake shimmer. Now for the swatches:
Pink Poinsettia- is a gorgeous and girly pink creme. Such a nice change from all the red and white shades. The formula on this polish was great, it has a really nice consistency and it flowed nicely onto the nail. I used two coats, sealed withsealed with Finishing Touch topcoat.
Holo-Day Lights- is a holographic micro glitter topper. Perfect for the holidays and the New Year. The application was fairly good, not to thick or thin to apply. This is a perfect topper when applied with one coat, however, alone I used a make-up sponge trick for full coveragesealed with Finishing Touch topcoat.
For this look, I took the opportunity to use my new stamping plate from Bundle Monster Holiday Themed Set to create this fun and cute snowflake...well glittery snowflake. Using Pink Poinsettia and Holo-Day Lights. I even used their fast drying, Finishing Touch, top-coat for that glossy look.
Big Red Bow- is a classic red creme and one of my faves on the collection. The formula on this polish was absolutely perfect and applied smoothly onto the nails. You can definitely get away with one coat for full coverage. This is one coat sealed with Finishing Touch.
Using a Bundle Monster Christmas stamping plate I created a sweater look for the holidays. Big Red Bow was the perfect baseto create this look and OPIMy Vampire is Buff, then topped with EssieMatte About You.
Peace Love & Sandy Feet- is a a gorgeous neutral nude cremeand another favorite of mine. This is one shade I wore at work. The formula on this polish was pretty good and applied perfectly onto the nails. I used two coats, sealed withsealed with Finishing Touch topcoat.
This is a look I created, mostly inspired by this cute Dainty Camellia nail charmfrom Daily Charme. It works perfectly with this shadePeace Love & Sandy Feet and Starfish Tree Topper, sealed with Finishing Touch topcoat.
Starfish Tree Topper- is a fun glittery gold and sliver glitter flakes. Here's another favorite of mine and one I plan to wear for the New Years. The formula on this polish was absolutely perfect and applied smoothly
onto the nails. You can definitely get away with one coat for full
coverage. This is one coat sealed with Finishing Touch.
Now here's a deign I love to recreate (and probably will continue to recreate)! I even wanted to try it with this gold and thought it turned out perfectly. I sealed the design with Finishing Touch. This top coat was amazing and a new favorite of mine! It only took at least 15-20 secs to dry and leaves a glossy finish.
Overall I am very impressed with Serendipity Nail Polishpolishes and their unique shades for the Holiday. Their formula requiresminimal coats which makes the application easier and fast drying time, especially their top coat. You can purchase the entire collection from Serendipity Nail Polish website for $45.00 (*Plus one free bottle of Finishing Touch)or separately for $10.00.
