Bonita: Greetings Earthlings Swatches & Review + Nail Art

Hello everyone! Hopefully everyone of you had a lovely weekend. It was surprising beautiful today and I'm very happy to see some of the snow melting already. I've been super busy this week, and finally had the chance to swatch this lovely collection from Bonita Cosmetics called the Greetings Earthlings.
The collection consist of all metallic shades, perfect for the upcoming spring. I can honestly say I am no longer impressed with their formula and application, it is truly amazing how easy and smoothly applies. Lets also not forget the beautiful bright shades. So lets get to it:
Penny for Your Thoughts- is a metallic copper orange polish, with subtle of shimmers throughout the polish. This is one of my favorite shades in this collection, since I don't have a color like this in my nail polish stash. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Truth Fairy- is a pink metallic polish, with subtle of shimmers throughout the polish. The formula is amazing and can easily be a one coater. However it was on the streaky side, so I applied another coat to level it. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
I really love how bright Truth Fairy and beautiful it looks. I decided to create some floral designs. Since I can't wait for some spring weather, it is one my favorite seasons; more for the pretty colorful flowers. For this look I used Truth Fairy for the base, and the rest was done with acrylic paint.
Greetings Earthlings- is a really pretty metallic light blue shade, with subtle of shimmers throughout the polish. The formula is amazing and can easily be a one coater. However, this is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Sea Me- is a beautiful sea green is a metallic with, a subtle of shimmers throughout the polish. This has to be one of my TOP favorite shades in this collection, since I don't have a color like this in my nail polish stash. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Bond, Jail Bond- is your basic metallic sliver shade, with subtle of shimmer throughout the polish. The formula is amazing and can easily be a one coater. However, this is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Since this is your basic shade, I was looking online and saw this gorgeous tweed dress from Oscar Del a Renta. I just knew it would be a perfect way to accent the nails.

#Hashtag- is your basic metallic gold shade, with subtle of shimmer throughout the polish. The formula is amazing and can easily be a one coater. However, this is two coats, sealed with top coat.
I really love how this golden metallic polish looks, and thought red florals will be the perfect match. For this look, I used acrylic paint to create the florals and lines.

Although some of the polishes may be your basic colors, however, the application were really good and very workable. They all applied perfectly in once coat, however, to add more depth in colors, a second coat will be great. You can purchase Bonita Colors polishes in Rite Aid stores or from their website for $1.99 a bottle, which is a true bargain.
