Bonita Salon: Fabulously Diva Collection Swatches, Review + Nail Art

Hey everyone! A few days ago I received an amazing nail mail from Bonita Cosmetics, that included several of other collections. I know I haven't been the best blogger out there, posting and all, my apologies. I'm going to start getting back on track. So recently I swatched their I Flippin Love It Collection which I loved very much, and was excited to swatch their "Fabulously Diva" Collection.
The collection consist of 6 metallic-like and shimmery cremes. I was really impressed with this collection, as each of them were incredible in application. The formula was very good making them easy to apply, especially for the bargain price sold in Rite Aid. So lets get to it:
True Diva- a lovely cherry creme polish with subtle of shimmers throughout the polish. The formula and application was such a breeze and wonderfully applied to the nails. You can get away with a one-coater, but this is two coats, sealed with top coat.
For this look, I planed on creating a leopard look with the red base, however, I thought it would be to busy. So I ended up by creating a stripped look with a beige v shape. I wasn't sure if I liked this look in the beginning, it grew on me, especially with the color combo.
Envy- I really loved this shade of teal, with a subtle of shimmer throughout the polish. The formula and application was absolutely perfect, and was very easy to apply with no streaks. This base is just perfect for the summer, especially creating some mermaid looks. This is definitely a one-coater, sealed with top coat.
Royal Wishes- it has to be, hands down, my top favorite shade on this collection. This is a gorgeous royal blue shimmery creme. By looking at the polish, my first thought it was a flaky polish with a hint of purple shimmers. Even though it is highly unnoticeable when applied to the nails, it is still a beautiful polish. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Dream Wonderland
- not a very unique shade, it is one of your basic metallic sliver cremes. Although, I have probably more than I can count, polishes in this shade. It is not one I need, unless you really don't have a polish like this, I would definitely recommend it. The formula and application is amazing, and was super easy to apply. This is a definite one-coater, sealed with top coat.
Fantasy Flower- a pinkish/purple shade with subtle of shimmers, throughout the polish. I wasn't sure how I felt about this shade, I can honestly say my least favorite color. However, combined with the other colors in the collection, makes it pop even more, than alone. The formula was very good and easy to apply. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
For this look I was inspired by a cuff bracelet I found on Etsy. I was surprised I had the exact colors to create this look. As beautiful the design looked on the cuff, I really wanted to see how it would look on the nails. The marble effect was super easy to do. I used Fantasy Flower, Royal Wishes,
Envy and Kiko Cosmetics 389 Mint Milk.
Prima Donna- a vampire red or burgundy creme, with subtle of shimmers throughout the polish. The formula, like all the other colors in the collection, was very good and easy to apply. You can get away with a one-coater, but this is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Although some of the polishes may be your basic colors, however, the application were really good and very workable. They all dried a glossy like finish, and are perfect for that special occasion. You can purchase Bonita Colors polishes in Rite Aid stores or from their website for $2.50 a bottle, which is a true bargain.
