Summertime Nails

Hey everyone! It's finally summer! Not as if I'm celebrating, it's actually my least favorite season, but it doesn't mean I can't do some themed nail art! I seriously enjoy looking at summer nails, they're always bright and fun to do. Beach themes, fruits, animals or even palm trees (which are very popular!)
While I was browsing online for some inspiration, I stumbled by this furniture place that had some reeaaally cute bean bags, that had an anchor and a turtle on it. How cute and summery!
For the design, I began by apply two coats of OPI Alpine Snow on all of the nails. Once the polish is completely dry, I added a few pieces of stripping tape, to create the stripes. I then applied Julep
MacKenzie, for the index finger and AAspire Nail Lacquer Cruz.
Once I carefully removed the tape, I freehanded the turtle on the pink and the blue anchor on the green, with acrylic paint. Ofcourse I had to add some glitter, so the design can pop and match the bean bags.
I really didn't know what to do on the white base, knowing me I just couldn't leave it alone. So I decided to recreate the turtle and anchor as a pattern. Lastly, I sealed the design with H K Girl Top Coat. Overall, I loved how these came out. The turtle and anchor combo looks perfect and cute together

Hope all of you enjoyed my post today! What do you guys think?
