butter LONDON: Shine Out Loud Review

Hey everyone! For today's post I have an awesome review from Butter London. Butter London, as you all know is well know for their amazing nail polishes and shades, but they are now expanding their line to cosmetics. I was honored to have the opportunity to try some of their products.
Within the box, was two sets of: Ladybird, Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara, Ladybird Blood Brilliant Lip Crayon and Wink Eye Pencil in Union Jack Black. (I was going to do a giveaway on the second set, but for some reason my sister thought it was fitting to take them as her own...sorry guys. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought to do one. ;)
Ladybird Blood Brilliant Lip Crayon- I have to admit, I'm not to fond of a lip sticks or lip crayons, I'm more of a lip gloss kind of girl or natural. However, I was super impressed with this color and formula. It was creamy, smooth, and opaque. Even a hint of shimmery red, when looked a bit closely.
This a really beautiful red, wit a slight orange hue. Really depends on how you look at it, especially when it comes to lighting. It comes with it’s own sharpener on the other end which is really cool! The large pencil was easy to apply, since my lips are a but fuller, and comes in many different shades.
Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara-  I don't were mascara often just for special occasions, but this mascara was amazing! The wand is very long, circularly wide on the top and lean on the bottom. It also made it very easy to apply and not at all clumpy. Even though I mostly prefer a natural, this is definitely one I will use on special occasion.

Below I have a closeup view of the mascara brush and eye pencil. And yes those are my lashes and demonstration of the pencil on my skin.

Wink Eye Pencil in Union Jack Black- The formula on this one is a bit soft. The tip of the pencil came of easily, which made it a bit hard to create a line. Nonetheless, I made it work by adding it lightly on above the lashes.
Ladybird- is a deep fiery red creme, with slight orange undertones. The formula in this polish was a bit on the thin side and to apply. A slight pooling towards the cuticle, considering I used a small amount for application.
However, I absolutely love this color! It is perfect on it own, even though I was tempted to add some nail art designs. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
For this look, I created a leopard look, inspired by one of my favorite nail charms from Daily Charme. Using a straight vinyl I created a "v"look using a nude shade, and then added a few leopard spots. Lastly applying a thin coat of matte top coat.
Overall I loved the quality the products, from their formula and packaging. The application was great, even their polishes streak-free and fast drying. These set of products are now available on their site: for Ladybird $15.00
