Winstonia: Christmas Holiday Charms (12pcs) Review Part 1

Hey everyone! In one week its going to be Christmas (only if your celebrating ;) and what a better way to celebrate the holidays with these cute nail charms from Winstonia Store. A an amazing nail art store with tons of nail art supplies and decorations. They are now even selling indie nail polishes and cuticle oils from Love, Angelie and Sweet Baby.
The Holiday set I have for review consist of 12 different fun holiday pieces. I had so many nail art ideas, since I love using nail charms, I decided to cut the post in two parts. So lets get to it:
The first one I have is the candy cane charm. Isn't it just adorable?! Looking at the charm I wanted to stay with the theme by creating a candy cane stripe designs. For the look I used Pretty Woman Dozen Roses, and freehand the stripes with white acrylic paint, using a long stripping brush.
For the charm, since it is a one day wear I applied top coat, and added a few dots around the charm.
Now for my favorite (of course) a present charm! This is soo cute! The first thing I think about during the holidays, is of course, the presents. It even attracted my students in the class when they first saw it! For the design, I didn't want to do too much. So I kept it simple by adding some glitter placements. Keeping it festive!
For the look, I used Pretty Woman Gelogic Dozen Roses and Hunt Me Down. The glitter placement is part of Pretty Woman glitter polish called Gold/Black Splatter. For the charm, I applied top coat, although you can use nail glue or gel for long lasting wear.
Another favorite of mine is this snowflake charm. Last year I created a snowflake design using this charm, and thought to recreate it (since I have a much better lighting this year hehe). For the look, I used Essie Warm &Toasty Turtleneck and OPI Alpine Snow for the snowflakes.
For the charm, since it is a one day wear I applied top coat, and added a few dots around the charm.
Another charm part of their set is this unusual looking deer. Why unusual you ask?! Well the deer is yellow lol! I honestly had no idea how I was going to use this charm, but I didn't want to overpower the charm by to matchy matchy colors. So I used Super Black Lacquer Fall Back for the base.
I then added a few decorative dot design with white acrylic paint and Deborah Lippmann Big Spender, using a dotting tool and stripping brush. For the charm, applied top coat and sealed it again.
If you don't like some of the charms that are Christmas themed, maybe you will like a simple charm like the bell charm part of their set. I didn't want to use the typical Christmas colors for this charm, so instead I wend for a pink shade. For this look I uses Renaissance Cosmetics Taffeta Gown and Essie Good as Gold.
For the charm, since it is a one day wear I applied top coat, and added a few dots around the charm.
Overall I am loving this set of charms! If you don't like one of the charms, you have a variety to choose from. You can purchase the charms on Winstonia Store website for $1.99! Stay tune for Part 2!
