The Little Lacquer Bean: If You Dare... Swatches & Review + Nail Art (Part 1)

Hey everyone! It's October and you know what that means...Halloween! So what a better way to showcase some super cute, fun shades from The Little Lacquer Bean, created by the amazing Kristine from Pink & Polished. For today's post I have some swatches and nail art for you from their "If You dare..". Collection. Not only do they shimmer, it even glows in the dark! Perfect for the season and holidays.
Although they're only four polishes in the collection, I will be splitting two post. It's was going to be very photo heavy, as each polish has a set of nail art designs fitting their names! ;) So here's the first two:
Witches Brew- is a purple holo jelly, which has a slight purple and aqua shimmers, throughout the polish (much noticeable in indirect light). The formula on this polish is pretty good, slightly thick after a while (which is not a bad thing, add small amount of polish thinner and your good to go) However, application was normal (besides the thickness) and fast drying time. This is three coats, sealed with top coat.
(Witches Brew Flashed)
It even glows a subtle dark purple. Like many glow in the dark polishes, you will need to charge the nails under a light (or with a black light bulb will do). It was a little difficult to capture the "glow" on photo, however,  you can see the purple and few specks of shimmer at night.  The glow does last after while, not as dark in the beginning, but I did have a little night on my finger before I went to bed.
For the design, I wanted to stick with the name...fitting don't you think?! I think they look awesome when it even glow in the dark! You can see completely the details, as the base glows. Not as much as I would like, but it is much better in person!
(Witches Brew + Design Glow in the Dark)
Glow-stly- a holographic top coat, which can be used alone with multiple coats or over a polish. It even shimmers in indirect light, which makes this polish even more beautiful. The application on this polish was normal. I had no issues with the brush, the formula was very nice and flowed on to the nails well. Alone is three coats, and with polish (subconsciously) I applied two coats over a mini wave vinyl, sealed with top coat.
Glow-stly Flashed)
It even glows a beautiful green (although it was tweaked a little, and now glows a slightly blue-green).  Like many glow in the dark polishes, you will need to charge the nails under a light (or with a black light bulb will do). This one was definitely not difficult to capture on photo. It was very bright, the glow last for almost all night without fading. One of my fave!
For the design, I thought to continue with the theme of creating designs inspired by the name. I saw this cute little ghost photo and imagined it would be perfect with the polish. I just couldn't wait to see it glow in the dark! I even included a few spider and a marble design to go along with it.

Overall the polishes are both beautiful, including the three components: the colors, holographic shimmers and glowing the dark. Perfect shades for Halloween! The set will be release for tomorrow (Friday, October 3rd) at 5pm EST. You can purchase them here on their site: Witches Brew for $9.00 and Glow-stly $10.00.
