Hey everyone! I have an exciting post for you guys today. It has been a long time since I've done a mani swap, so it is an honor to do one with one of my favorite french bloggers Coraline from Cocos Nailss. She's super sweet and talented, I just love how her nail art design look on her nubbins.
I really had a hard time, choosing a design I wanted to recreate for the swap. I think I have a full list I've always wanted to do. I first choose this cute red and nude beige floral design. But I didn't like how they turned out, so I went for my second choose, her gorgeous lemon design.
I really loved the meaning behind this design, and so I thought it would be perfect to recreate. For the design, I began by applying two coats China Glaze Peonies & Park Ave, a gorgeous neon pink shade. Which fit perfectly for thisdesign, especially a little something bright for Fall. ;)
Once the polish was completely dried, I first outlined the lemons with black acrylic paint, and filled them in with Julep Bea. I then added the leaves using Bonita Salon with a nail art brush. As for the pinky, I applied two coats ofJulep Bea and then accented with a stud from Born Pretty Store.
Lastly, I sealed the designwith H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! Overall I really loved how these came out, especially the lemons. So remember "When Life Hands You Lemons, make a huge bucket of lemonade". One of my favoritequotes whenever I'm a bit down.
Above is Coraline's solo shot. She recreated one of my top favorite
designs, and they look amazing on her. She did a beautiful job, she is
so talented! I'm so happy to have done this with her, definitely one
