Hi everyone! Today I have another review from Born Pretty Store, a 2pcs stamping nail art stamper and scraper. They have tons of amazing inexpensive nail art tools and accessories. With tons of new arrivals every other week, which is exciting to look through! Although I love to create freehand nail art work, I do have one of those days I can't seen to bring myself to hold on to a brush. Well that's were my stamping comes in!
I really don't have many stamping plates, maybe a few here and there, but I was in need of a new scraper and nail art stamper. The only one I ever purchased was from Konad, which was the original double stamper. I really wanted to try a square one, since I've heard great things about them.
Within the sealed package you will receive one scraper and the a square stamper. Compared with the Konad double stamper, it it much more wider and longer (the size being 3m wide and 4cm long). This is perfect for more advanced stamping and decals. As the circular stamper has less space for those larger designs.
The cushion is very soft, making it easier for the stamping designs placed on the nails. Compared with the circular cushion is a lot more firm. As for the scraper, it was less sharper than the Konad. It was difficult to scrape all of the excess polish on the plate. Although it is great for the small designs, I prefer the Konad scraper as it removes the polishes more.
For this review, I wanted to recreate a stamping decal design I did using, a baroque plate I used from Born Pretty Store (review here). When I created this design on the circular stamper it was difficult to get the full design. However with the square stamper (shown on photo), the design went on perfectly.
For the gradient, I applied two coats of Floss Gloss Dinge. I then dabbed Dinge and Perf, with a make up sponge onto the nails. Once the polish was completely dry, I added the stamping decals and a stud above the design. Lastly, I sealed the designwith H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! They even would look incrediblematted! Iabsolutelylove how these came out!
