31 Day Challenge 17: Half-Moon Nails

Hey everyone! Although this challenge is almost over, I have come to my senses to at least try to finish the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge. I think it's has to do with the next challenges coming up, being that they're my faves. For today's challenge is half-moons, and I really wanted to represent Halloween with this design. ;)
On my last post, I reviewed Born Pretty Store 12pc brush set. It was the first time I ever had a set with various of brushes. I designed this simple Halloween "half-moon", using one of those brushes. I just couldn't help to recreate it again for this challenge.
I've always wanted to do something like this, simple and spooky. I mean who doesn't love a Halloween design?! Especially, the full moon! For the base, I began by applying two coats of Bonita Salon Blue Love. Ugh such a gorgeous color, and applied smoothly in two coats.
Once the polish was completely dry, using the small brush from Born Pretty Store (here), I freehand each of the circles of the moon with white acrylic paint. I thought it would be cute for it to transition, from the forefinger to the pinky, as if it was going up. I then, lightly highlighted the moon with grey acrylic paint, for the crates.
I then added the bats, using the same brush, with black acrylic paint. Lastly, I sealed the design with H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! I absolutely love how these came out. I really didn't want to remove them. They are so cute and simple, especially for Halloween. I just can't wait to create more Fall and Halloween designs, since they are around the corner
