Hi lovely readers! After spending time with family in New York City, during the fourth of July weekend, and some sight seeing we had some of the best pretzels in Time Square. This of course gave me my next ail art inspiration. I mean who doesn't love a good warm pretzel...I know I do! :D
I'm always getting inspired by the things around, heck even food...haha! So after extensively browsing online for the perfect inspiration, I came across JauntyJuli YouTube channel where she did these awesomely cute pretzel design...light bulb!!
I absolutely love these, as well as all of her designs she creates. I have to say she is one my favorite nail artist out there, very unique! You must check her out! With that said, I couldn't wait to recreate these cute pretzels. Although I did add a little something different...salt anyone! ;D
For the base, I began by applying one coat of OPI Alpine Snow. since I was using Essie neon, the white base makes them pop. I then applied three coats of Essie Too Taboo for the forefinger and the pinky, and Sittin' Pretty for the middle and ring finger.
Once that was set by following JauntyJuli's tutorial, I freehand the pretzels using acrylic paint. I even added various dots using a dotting tool with acrylic paint. Lastly, I sealed the design with H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! Looove it! My friends and family thought hey were decals, which I completely take as a compliment! ;D
