Mani Swap: Metallic Gradient Stripes

Hello lovelies! I'm super excited for today's post, I was honored to do a mani swap with one of my favorite IG nail artist and swatcher Ruby from @rubyrominaa. I've admired her nails for along time and I was very happy that she accepted to do these with me.
Her swatches and nails are always flawless and incredible to look at! For the swap, she choose my black and white stripes floral design and when I first saw her metallic gradient design I knew I had to recreate it.

Go follow @rubyrominaa, you won't regret it! Any-who, the design I chose was one I really wanted to recreate for a long time. I just loved the combination of the metallic gradient, under the black base.
Normally I don't like working with stripping tape, it is, definitely, much more difficulty than it really looks. For the base I applied two coats of Floss Gloss Black Holy. Once the polish was completely dried, I added stripping tape creating the triangle and line pattern.
I applied Bettina Prodigy and Luminary on a makeup sponge, and then lightly dabbed it onto the nails. Once I was satisfied with the colors, I carefully peeled the tape and applied a thin coat of H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! even created a tutorial: here.
I just loved how Ruby's recreation looks! I think it looks better than mine...haha! She absolutely did a wonderful and you regret following her: @rubyrominaa!
Hope all of you enjoyed my post today!
