Hi everyone! I hope all of you has wonderful weekend! For today's post is all about stamping nail art. I've only done one stamping plate review from Born Pretty Store, and I have to say the quality of it is really good and affordable. They also sell variety of nail art tools, accessorizes and more! Stamping is definitely a technique I need to master and truly an art all on it's own.
Although I've mentioned it before, I wasn't interested in stamping nail art and I thought to I can do many of the designs freehand. However, considering I'm not that artistic, why not create some quick nail art designs.
The plate I chose is the QA73 hexagon shape, with 3 large shapes, 3 laces and 3 currency designs. Honestly, I first attracted by the lace and baroque design, the swirls seemed interesting. Below I swatched the shapes for on paper.
The stamping was simply and easy to use, and I really loved how the designs came out! The design I chose to use was the baroque. I wanted to use it first, since I've already have a design in mind.
First, I applied two coats of Essie's Naughty Nautical, I love this color. Once the polish was completely dried, I then began the stamping process. I applied a small amount of Essie's Good as Gold, on the plate and scraped the polish quickly. For the forefinger and ring finger, I added the whole design.
For the other nails, I added a strip of tape in the middle, which helps to separate the design. I then applied the stamping design and carefully removed the tape. With a stripping brush, I painted a line in the middle, using Essie Good as Gold. I then added a square stud, to accent the nails.
