Wintery Nails

 **Sponsored Link**
Hi guys! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I am actually really exited for winter, so I wanted to share you my inspired nails I did from Elizabeth of Pampered & Polish. I really didn't know what to call these, but the sparkle and the colors, pretty much reminded me of winter.
Hence wintery nails (I know that's not a word, but what the heck I'll use it anyway...hehe!) It was also a great excuse for me to use Essie's new Winter '13 Collection. It truly complemented each other. I've even made a tutorial here: Glam Express. So here are the nails:
For the base, I applied two coats of Seche Nail Lacquer Simplicity (YES! they make nail polishes). I love this color. It was really hard for me to find that perfect nude shade, that I liked, this is the best. Trust me I have tried many. For the sparkle, I applied two coats of Out the Doors Hologram Top Coat. With the combination of nude and sparkle, I just loved how it looked whimsical to me.
For the tips, using a nail art brush, I drew the lines, with Essie's Parka Perfect and Warm & Toasty Turtleneck. I then drew a line in the middle of the nail, with OPI Alpine Snow. Using a nail art brush, I also drew the lines from small to the longest in the middle. It totally looks like icicles.
I then, added a stud, which you can purchase in Born Pretty Store and sealed it with Duri- Super Fast Dry Through Top Coat. I completely love this design it's unique, girly and different. It even looks so much better in person. Check out for my tutorial on how to create this design: Glam Express.
Hope all of you enjoyed my post today!
What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below!
