Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: L for Lettering

**Purchased & Provided**

Hey everyone! I thought to stick with the Halloween theme for my Alphabet Nail Art Challenge. So for today's post I have L for lettering. This is actually the first time I have ever created a mani based on letters. Sure I have written words in few of my other designs, but this was completely different. I did have a difficult time coming up with a nail art design to do, for this challenge.

I wanted something spooky. And why not spiders. I hate spiders! These words can be my true expression when I see one. I try really hard not to kill it when I see it (yes I'm one of those people), but I can't help to stomp one! If it's on a cage I have no problem with it. However, I guess I can say this a dedication to them...hehe!

For the base, I applied two coats of  Forever 21 White, on three nails. Once dried, with a nail art brush, I outlined the letters, using Revlon Black Magic. I also added some dripping goo effect, to stick with creepy theme. I then covered the letters with KB Shimmer 24 Carrot Bold.
I didn't want to use a acrylic. So I found using a matte polish a better way to fill in the letters, since it dries quickly. It's also easy to use, if you want to do some detail work. A good tip for all you lovelies! ;) I then added little spiders and webs around the letters, to make pop more. I loved how it turned out!

As for the other two fingers, I applied two coats of Revlon Enchanting. I added webs and spiders, with a nail art brush, using Revlon Black MagicI then sealed the design with Duri- Super Fast Dry Through Top Coat.

What do you guys think?
Hope all of you enjoyed my post today!
